It had long been my ambition to travel to South America, and in particular Peru and the Galapagos Islands. Like everyone else I wanted to see the giant tortoises.
At a management training seminar in 1995, while pregnant with my youngest daughter, we were asked to write down a target we hoped to achieve within five years. I wrote: travel to South America.
In 2000 with time running out, I made it. But not in the way I had imagined. That though, is a completely different story.
This section is still under contruction but (I know, more than 20 years after the event, but a lot has happened in the meantime and I didn't write on my target list - make a blog!), so I have added two pages with a few pictures just to set the ball rolling.
