With a dog and so many footpaths within a few hundred metres of our gate it is not surprising that one of our many activities is walking. After years spent running and concentrating more on the effort than on my surroundings, walking is an eye opener. I have spotted things I have run past many times but never seen. At a slower, even if often brisk pace, there is time to notice the flora and fauna, the changing seasons and the colours and textures of nature.

If you'd like to try some of our walks we've mapped them (click on the links below), ignore the spur off the circular routes. Most are within easy access of a public car park (main three shown below) and many pass through Greenway Bank Country park.

NOTE: The elevation information shown with the tracks is not necessarily accurate although the insert in the top right is gives a reasonable representation of the climb/decent profile. In almost all cases the route finished at the same place it started so the net difference in elevation should be closer to zero.
