Family Archive

 Family group

This is a picture of the family. It was taken in August 1996 just before Louise was one year old. We have not got many pictures of the whole family together- and anyway Mum looks less grey in this picture.

Katie, Louise, Mum and Dad

 Dad

This is Dad at the Zoo with Louise (1997). Dad hasn't gone grey - just bald (but he's wearing a hat). It isn't the kids or work that have caused Dad to go bald but three brain operations and radiation therapy. At least that is his excuse.

See Dad at Knypersly reservoir with Katie and Louise.

Dad doesn't see the rest of his family very often because they live a long way off.

At top right is Dad's family.
Grandad, Uncle David, Dad,
Mum, Katie, Louise, Clare, Becky and Dad's sister Elizabeth. His Mum took the picture

This is Dad on Christmas day 2000. He has even less hair now. Since the zoo picture in Summer 1997 he has had yet another brain operation (Dec 1997) and a course of chemotherapy (Dec 2000). He has been let out of hospital for Christmas - so here he is with his party hat.

Mum
Mum

This is Mum. Mum takes nearly all the photos so there aren't many of her. This one was snapped by Katie.

Mum says she does the gardening but grandma does most of it. That's her on the right on holiday in Bled, Slovenia. We all went there on holiday in August 1998.

 Katie
Katie

Left: Katie (Photo: December 2000). Katie is nine years old and she goes to Saint Anne's Primary School in Brown Edge.

Right: Katie aged 7 in October 1998.

She likes reading, dressing up, make up and watching television. She also likes anything to do with art and craft and she is always making things (usually a mess too).

Louise

This is Louise (Photo December 2000). Louise is five and has been going to St. Anne's primary school since she left Rock Cottage Day Nursery in September 2000

She is a noisy but very sociable little girl who likes having her face painted, visiting the zoo, horse riding and playing with grandad (right).
