Relaxing dog
 I have been to:
France, Turkey, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Slovenia and now Croatia. I've been to London when Louise was just born and I went on the train through the channel tunnel.

Tourist/Country Information Links worth a visit (although some are a bit slow)
Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Wales, Scotland, Ireland

SLOVENIA - We went to Bled (1998). There was a lake (see the photo below) and I went on the helter-skelter into the lake. We had to go on lots of walks but I wanted to stay in the hotel and watch the television. We went to some caves and went in on a train. Louise didn't like it but she liked the white horses we saw in the afternoon. She thought she could have a ride!

We call Louise Louby and a man in our hotel told us that in Slovenian it means "Darling". Fancy us going round shouting "DARLING" to her all the time. Urghh!

TURKEY - I like Turkey because it is hot and you can relax like the dog. In Turkey I bought a rug from a man who said he was Aladdin. He said that the rug would fly but it doesn't. I saw the place where they said the first Santa was burried but I didn't see any bones.

Here I am lying on my Magic Carpet on the hotel floor. I was three years old then! And then you can see me in the hotel's swimming pool.

 Bled church on island

We went swimming in the lake and the water was cold but my Mum kept telling me it was nicer than the sea. It was good and I swam a long way. We walked round the lake (below with grandma) and near the end of the holiday we went round again by horse and cart. Dad and grandad didn't go. The horse wouldn't have been able to pull them anyway!

WALES

Castle in Wales

When we went to Wales we had to go CAMPING. I like hotels better. I had to share a tent with Dad and Louise and Dad SNORED! This is my blue tent. Mum was in Grandma's caravan but Dad's legs were too long for the caravan bed.

Tents

I have been to Wales loads of times. It is really good and we don't have to go on an aeroplane to get there. Louise screams when the aeroplane takes off and lands. I think she is scared but it might be just her ears hurting her. That's me with Dad and Louise at some ruined castle or other. There are a lot of them in Wales. Find out about castles in Wales.

 Croatia
In 1999 we went to Croatia. Louise wanted to go to Florida but we didn't. We went to an island near Dubrovnik called Kolocep.
The Bay This is a picture of the bay in front of our hotel. It was a small island and there were no cars. Just a funny thinbg that the hotel used for moving suitcases to the boat. The on;ly problem with the island was getting up to catch the boat when Mum and Dad decided we had to go to the mainland. Louise thought we were on the mainland and when we got the boat we were going to an island. Silly thing!
On the beach. We played on the beach nearly every day except when we went on a trip to the mainland. We didn't go on many trips because we didn't like getting up early. One day we got up early to go to see the museuams in Dubrovnik that closed at lunch time. It was raining hard and we got there so early there was nothing to do. When we went in the afternoon it was better. I liked the cathedral and the things with the bones in them. Saints relics! Cool! Katie on the beach
Swimming  It was good in the sea too. The water was warm and Louise could almost swim without her float. Mum stood on a sea urchin and got spikes in her foot. I went into the swimming pool too and sometimes we went on the pedal boat or in the canoe. We saw some people fooling about and they sank the canoe TWICE!
Lots of the children didn't wear any clothes and Louise took hers off too. She wanted an all over sun tan! She went into the sea and then we stuck sand all over her to make her into a sand monster. Mum kept covering her in sun cream so it helped to stick on the sand. Sand monster
